Higher Charmonium

Only four charmonium states are currently known above ccbar threshold. At BES, CLEO-c and other e+e- machines it is possible to greatly improve our knowledge of excited charmonia. In this contribution I will review our recent calculations of the strong and EM decay amplitudes and total widths of the first 32 higher-mass charmonium states above DD threshold. We note that measurements of the D*D* decay amplitudes and branching fractions of the easily accessible vectors psi(4040) and psi(4160) can provide exciting tests of the physics of open-flavor strong decays.
