PHI MESON RADIAL TRAJECTORIES

A simple(diquark)light meson with m^2(quark)/M^2(meson)<< 1 seems generally to follow Veneziano's radial conjecture [1]: M^2 = AN + B. Here A=1.04 GeV^2 is a universal slope, and B a paricular intercept; N=1,2,3,...counts the sequence of mesons with constant external fatures: J.P C,I, etc. Now we apply the formula to ssbar JPC = 1--light mesons. One finds parallel trajectories, apparently 3S1 and 3D1,for N= 1 to 4. Not previously isolated; they point to crude data that suggest linear extensions to N = 5 and 6. Acuracte measures of phi--> KKbar, etc., are now needed in the M =2-3 GeV range using hadron beams as well as photons.
