Hotel Accomodations
Accomodations will be organized by the ECT secretariat. Please fill in the questionnaire sent you shortly before Christmas. You should send it then to Cristina Costa (cristina@ect.it) and cc it to alkofer@tphys.physik.uni-tuebingen.de. In the questionnaire you will be asked to choose ``in/outside Trento''. If you will be using local transit ``inside Trento'' is the more reasonable choice. If you have a car, either option will work. Trains from Verona to Trento go very frequently (appr. one per hour) and the trip takes approximately 55 minutes. There is local financial support from ECT* which is calculated as follows. The local costs assuming that participants share a double room counts as 100%. Speakers get 70% of this amount from the ECT*. Thus 30% of this amount, plus any extra for single rooms must be paid by the participant.

Accompanying persons receive no support.

How to reach Hotel America for people arriving by train : going out of the railway station in Trento you go slightly to the left taking Via Gazzoletti. You go straight on following this street until the bottom of it, where you will find the hotel just in front of you.

For people arriving by car : at the exit of the high-way you follow the indication Trento Centro (see also the general info you should have alredy received), you pass a traffic light and go straight on (you are in Via Fratelli Fontana), you pass under a tunnel and go straight to the next traffic light which you pass going straight and then turning slightly to the right at the next cross (you are now in Via Petrarca). You follow this street until the next traffic light which you pass going straight always along Via Petrarca on and turning to the left at the next cross; you follow the new street (Via Gazzoletti) shortly and you find the hotel America just in front of you. There is a small parking just outside the hotel, if you don't find place in it they will show you another big parking very closed to the hotel. You'll find all other information you need, also to reach the Centre, in the General Information sheet which I'm attaching below. At the hotel you will find an ECT* bag containing various information. Please do ask for it if they forget to give you, as it sometimes happens. I hope everything is clear, if not please contact me again.

NOTE 1: For people arriving before the beginning of the workshop I confirm the PIZZA-DINNER on Sunday evening (March 9).

NOTE 2 : For people arriving on Monday : On Monday evening there will be a buffet-dinner at the ECT*, in the old renovated building. It starts at 7.30, but you can join the others also later.

NOTE 3 : For the lazy people who won't read the General Information : The bus to the ECT* is bus No. 6, leaving from the bus stop in front of the railways station (at the opposite side of the square if you imagine the station at your shoulders ) almost every 20 minutes starting from 8.07 am).
