GHP Fellows of the APS

2004
Burkardt, Matthias
New Mexico State University

For his contributions towards understanding the connection between generalized parton distributions and transverse momentum distributions.

2003
Barnes, Frank Edward (Ted)
Oak Ridge National Laboratory

For his seminal work on hybrid and exotic hadrons and his contributions to hadron spectroscopy and to the quantum properties of spin systems.

2002
Williams, Anthony G.
Adelaide University, Australia

For pioneering studies of the nonperturbative behavior of quarks and gluons using Dyson-Schwinger equations, phenonemonological quark models, and lattice gauge calculations.

The GHP may nominate one of its members for fellowship in the APS once per year. It is the responsibility of the Fellowship committee to select the honoree and forward his case to the APS.

Fellows honoured for research in hadronic physics [1995-2002].
